The Volcano flight 2021

The eruption has four fissures spewing gas and lava far into the air and filling up the neighboring valleys. The Reykjanes peninsula is one of the most geologically active areas in Iceland. The current eruptions are a continuation of an ongoing seismic unrest in the past few years.

The flight leaves from the Icelandair-terminal at Reykjavik domestic airport. It will take you over the active volcano where we´ll circle around for everyone to get that perfect shot of an active volcano before we head back to the capital.

Flight time is about 40 minutes or until everybody is good to go back 🙂
